Course Offerings

The course registration process for 2020-21 will look a bit different than in past years.  Current students in grades 9-11 will start to prepare for course selection in early January after returning from winter break.  Each student will receive an individual grade-level registration form in their ASPIRE on Monday, January 27. Students are required to select their courses for the 2020-21 school term on the provided form and secure a parent signature. The form is due by Friday, January 31. Students will enter their course selections into Xello, formally known as Career Cruising. Then, during the week of February 3-7, each student will be called down by their ASPIRE to meet with their counselor to review their course selections. These meetings will last only 5-10 minutes; so if your student needs additional time, please have them stop in Student Services and make an appointment with their counselor.

The purpose of the South Milwaukee High School Academic & Career Planning Guide is to serve as a resource to assist students and parents in establishing a course of study that serves as a springboard for post-high school goals. The guide is a comprehensive listing of courses offered at the High School. The links below contain valuable information that can be used to guide students through the process.
